It is interesting to see how this senior management obviously does not understand its own business, as it obviously massively undervalued the role the (former) employees played in making the business model work. #CluelessManagement
The tech giant, which once bet big on AI-driven efficiency, is now scrambling to rehire or outsource the very roles it axed. Lesson learned: AI is a tool, not a magic wand. The experience of the employees is particularly important. Even if there is a opportunity to improve efficiency human experience has to ensure that whatever the LLM produces is coherent nuanced and sensible enough to avoid disturbing the increasingly sensitive perceptions of the audience.
